The snow didn't slow us down one bit this week as students worked hard to put together their portfolios for presentation next week. Throughout each week I ask the students to reflect on their work and to identify goals for themselves as learners. One of the most important questions I ask kids to think about is: What have you learned about yourself as a student? Whether they are in TAAP or their homerooms, children should have an understanding of what makes their learning most successful.
Here are some of the replies:
- I understand things better with a hands on activity.
-I have many things I have to work on
-I do well on Tinker cad
-I love designing and getting to be creative with the 3D
-I like doing work with technology more
- I am more creative than I think!
-I can really get stuff done
- I do best with hands on learning
--I love to make ice cream!
-I work well with hands on activities and I like to be organized.
-I enjoy hands on activities and experiments. Also I like to take neat notes with colors!
-I 'm open to other's ideas and to make a compromise. I am a pretty good team mate.
-I work good with one or maybe 2, but a big group is hard to work in.
-I am very curious.
-I like experiments and I am good at following all the steps in them.
I'm looking forward to seeing families and friends next week as the students show where they are in their learning journey.
